Joe Marshall

Joe is Maggie's son. He is seventeen and a home-schooled Junior this fall. He has worked at Bent Creek Golf Course as a cart cleaner and after just a few months was put in the Pro Shop because his boss said, "He is good with people."

After a year, Joe became bored with his job and asked is he could work for MMDT. Maggie jumped at the chance to train her son in her trade and introduce him to running a business. His role is as an assistant, a Sitter, and whatever else needs to get done. Joe is a minor, but is responsible and trustworthy. He plays competitive baseball and is an avid and super talented golfer, as well as a car buff. Joe really has been around dogs his whole life and has learned quite a lot from living with his mother, the trainer.

Michael and Maggie met over a year ago when he saw her teaching a Puppy Play ~n~ Learn class.  His immediate interest in the dogs got Maggie's attention and like most relationships these days, they formed a friendship on Facebook. In 2017, Michael volunteered to assist Maggie in a trial run of a prototype class. He was there with bells on. The two qualities in Michael that have always stood out have been his eagerness and his consistency -two things that make a great trainer. In July of 2018, Maggie and Michael took leaps of faith in each other and began working together to expand MMDT Services' ability to offer Dog Sitting, Puppy Specialist and training to more of the public.  Michael is a father to three children, is happily married and lives in Orange Park. He comes aboard with some dog experience; he has fostered dogs and volunteered for the Safe Animal Shelter and The London Sanctuary and worked for First Coast No More Homeless Pets; where he successfully transported countless animals to and from surgery, as well as other duties.

Who you leave your dog with matters to the well-being of your dog, the safety of your home and your ability to relax while away.

Maggie is 100% reliable. If you make a reservation for the care of your dog, Maggie will be there. She is the ultimate dog whisperer. ALL dogs love Maggie. I can enjoy time away from home knowing my sweet pet is receiving the best f care. It is very important who you trust to care for your dog and keep her sage while you are away. Maggie Marshall has provided care for my dog for over two years. Not only does she provide the basic needs of my dog, she also meets her mental and exercise needs as well. I receive daily updates and photos and/or videos that ease my mind knowing that my dog is happy while I am away. Sometimes I think my dog loves Maggie more than me, which is the ultimate compliment. -Jackie

Walk and Train ~ $40

This is perfect for an owner with a Monday - Friday, 9-5 type working schedule. Sometimes after the work day and the commute home, a dog can end up home alone for 9 hours or more and a bathroom break and a little attention mid-day makes a real difference in a dog's quality of life. This is also ideal for a dog that doesn't walk well on a leash or even has significant issues on a walk, like barking, lunging or chasing things. A regular sitter isn't going to want to walk a dog like this and get her arm pulled for 30 minutes and that's just reinforcing your dog's undesirable behaviors.  We will walk and train your dog to improve behavior with each exercise period, so that one day -you can walk your dog again and enjoy it!
