Thank You Jacksonville

In 2023, I made a big move—from Jacksonville to West Palm Beach. With that move came an even bigger decision: I passed my Jacksonville dog training business on to my son, Joe. Many of my clients have become like family to me. I am forever grateful for the city that welcomed me and my son into their homes and lives. So much of life is about letting go and trusting what will be. There’s been a lot of that for me in the past few years!

For the last couple of years, Joe has been training dogs there with dedication and heart, continuing the work I poured myself into for over 16 years. Watching him grow into the role, build relationships with clients, and develop his own confidence as a trainer has been something I’m deeply proud of.

Next month, Joe will be closing the Jacksonville business and moving here to begin something entirely new. And while this feels like the right next step, I won’t pretend it isn’t bittersweet.

Jacksonville is where I built my name, my reputation, and a community I care deeply about. It’s where I met incredible families, worked with unforgettable dogs, and spent years showing up—day after day—to homes that trusted me with something important. Letting go of that chapter means truly acknowledging that my dog training is no longer represented in Jacksonville, and that’s emotional in a way I didn’t fully expect.

To my past clients: please know this—our connection doesn’t disappear just because time or distance changes. I am still always a phone call away. I still care. I still want the best for you and your dogs.

As for Joe, I am excited to see what he creates next. Closing one door to open another takes courage, and I have no doubt he will bring integrity, work ethic, and heart into whatever he builds.

So here’s to honoring what was, and welcoming what’s coming.
And here’s to wishing Joe every bit of success in his new venture.
